HCMC – Saigontourist Group’s annual Charity Golf Tournament 2023 has raised sufficient funds for 500 scholarships for outstanding students in financial hardship and children orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 17th tournament at Thu Duc Golf Course on July 29 attracted 140 golfers who are business leaders, managers and diplomats from HCMC and other provinces. The event is part of Saigontourist Group’s plan to celebrate the 48th anniversary of its establishment.

“The tournament was organized as part of the company’s efforts to revive business operations, rally support from Saigontourist Group’s affiliates and partners, and make a positive impact on the community,” said Vo Anh Tai, deputy general director of Saigontourist Group.

Similar to the previous editions of the tournament, all the proceeds will be used to fund social and charitable programs for vulnerable members of society.
