HCMC – The Central Inspection Commission has suggested that the relevant authorities take disciplinary actions against several Party members in connection with the Dai Ninh urban development project in Lam Dong Province.
The commission made this recommendation during its 52nd session from December 9 to 11, chaired by Tran Cam Tu, head of the commission and permanent member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Secretariat.
During the session, the commission also decided to issue a warning against Nguyen Van Huyen, former director general of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam.
It also reviewed the results of inspections on the implementation of Party duties such as inspection, supervision, and discipline, as well as financial audits for the standing committees and inspection commissions of the provincial and city Party committees.
Additionally, it checked the asset and income declarations of officials managed by the Politburo and the Secretariat in the provinces and cities of Danang, Dong Nai, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
The Central Inspection Commission found that, alongside the advantages and achievements, the inspected Party organizations and members also had some violations and shortcomings in leadership, direction, and the implementation of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary tasks; in the management and use of Party finances and assets; and in asset and income declarations.
It required the inspected Party organizations and members to continue promoting their strengths, seriously review and learn from their experiences, promptly correct the violations and shortcomings identified, and report the results.
