HCMC – Stavian Group has recently founded Stavian Recycling JSC and sped up work on the Stavian Recycled Plastic Plant in the first quarter of next year.

The three-hectare recycling plant will be located in a northern province, with its operation scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

The project has an annual production capacity of over 17,000 tons, and is expected to create thousands of jobs for the local community.

Equipped with advanced technology, the Stavian Recycled Plastic Plant is designed to meet the stringent requirements of circular supply chains. Stavian Recycling is committed to producing recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) resins in accordance with the quality standards established by the European Union (EU).

The company aims to contribute to sustainable waste management and safe plastic recycling practices. These efforts align with Stavian’s overarching goals of supporting socio-economic development and protecting the environment in Vietnam.

Data from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment showed that only 11-12% of plastic waste in Vietnam is currently processed and recycled, highlighting the urgent need for improved waste management solutions.
