Clear and unambiguous regulations that matter

In an exclusive interview with The Saigon Times, Dominik Meichle, chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Vietnam, emphasized the importance of open dialogue and collaborative partnerships in propelling Vietnam’s economic recovery and sustainable growth. Meichle detailed EuroCham’s active role in amplifying business voices and driving data-informed policy discussions to foster sustainable growth. Excerpts: The Saigon Times: How do you envision shaping EuroCham’s growth and bolstering its advocacy for European businesses in Vietnam during your tenure?Dominik Meichle: First and foremost, it is important to acknowledge that EuroCham’s achievements are the result of collective efforts. We benefit from a strong board, a dedicated team, and robust partnerships with business associations and European Union (EU) member states. As chairman, I am honored to advocate for the interests of our 1,400 European company members. Our focus at EuroCham has always been on advocacy, aiming to create sustainable outcomes for Vietnam. The true measure of our success is in fostering win-win solutions that benefit both European businesses and Vietnamese society.
