HCMC – Business representatives, State officials, and experts at home and abroad gathered at the Binh Duong Innovation seminar series held yesterday, sharing their insights about a roadmap for upgrading manufacturing toward Industry 4.0 and corporate innovation.
The seminars are part of the on-going Techfest Vietnam 2022, a national innovation startup festival taking place between December 2 and 4 in the southern province of Binh Duong.
Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, president of Eastern International University (EIU), shared about the school’s orientations to closely connect with businesses toward Industry 4.0.
Duc introduced the Vietnam-Singapore Industry 4.0 Innovation Center at EIU, saying it is expected to play a major role in human resources training to prepare for Industry 4.0 and bolstering the transformation and improvement of businesses, Duc said.
The seminar series also provided participating businesses deeper insights into corporate innovation and Industry 4.0.
According to Nguyen Loc Ha, vice chairman of the provincial government, the local authorities and businesses have been striving to step up the province’s economic recovery post pandemic, and reaped positive results.
With the theme “Industry 4.0 – Innovation”, Techfest Vietnam 2022 is expected to help position Binh Duong among the pioneering provinces and cities to boost startup innovation.
The festival also enabled businesses in Binh Duong to approach the country’s innovation ecosystem to promote innovation, digital transformation, and new technology application.
