HCMC – Investigators of the HCMC Police Department are looking into two real estate developers for allegedly offering three fake property projects for sale in the city’s Hoc Mon District and swindling customers.

The two realty firms are Vu Gia Phat Real Estate Service and Construction Investment JSC with Vu Trung Quang serving as director and Viet A Chau Real Estate JSC whose general director is Mai Quoc Duong, reported Thanh Nien newspaper.

The investigators are verifying complaints claiming that the two property developers signed contracts to transfer the land lots of the three following projects in the outlying district of Hoc Mon, namely “Gia Phat Garden” in Tan Hiep Commune, “New Star Residential Area” in Dong Thanh Commune and “Dragon Center” in Xuan Thoi Son Commune.

The firms were not licensed by authorities to execute the three projects, but they still signed contracts to offer land lots at the projects for sale and collected money from customers, according to the investigators.

To aid the investigation, the municipal investigators requested individuals and organizations that signed the land transfer contracts associated with the fake projects to contact the investigating agency at No. 674 on February 3 Street, District 10 or contact investigator Do Duy Khoa on his mobile phone on 0965118882 to provide further information about the case.
