Must read

HCMC – The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) suspended the operations of the SP3/SP4 trains on the Hanoi-Lao Cai route on January 29 and 31 amid the resurgence of Covid-19 in some provinces and cities nationwide.

The SP3 train departing from Hanoi station had its operations suspended on January 29 and the SP4 train starting at Lao Cai station will stop operating from January 31, reported VietnamPlus.

Passengers who booked tickets for these trains can return them to railway stations and will not be charged any fee, a representative of Haraco said.

Previously, following Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s directives on urgent measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Vietnam Railway Corporation had announced the suspension of passenger pick-up and drop-off services at the stations of Cam Giang, Hai Duong and Phu Thai in Hai Duong Province, which is now one of the country’s coronavirus hotspots, starting from January 28 until further notice. Passengers booking trips to and from these three stations can return tickets without having to pay any fee.
