Transport Ministry gets new deputy minister

HCMC – Nguyen Danh Huy, head of the Planning and Investment Department under the Ministry of Transport, has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Transport.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to pick Nguyen Danh Huy for the post, the local media reported.

Huy, aged 48, who was born in Quang Binh Province and got a master’s degree in engineering, worked in the transport sector for several years and served as deputy head and head of the Planning and Investment Department and head of the Public-Private Partnership Department under the ministry.

Nguyen Van The is the Minister of Transport and he has five deputies: Le Dinh Tho, Le Anh Tuan, Nguyen Xuan Sang, Nguyen Duy Lam and Nguyen Danh Huy.

Besides, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh on August 16 decided to appoint Colonel Nguyen Huu Hung, director of the Academy of Cryptography Techniques, as deputy head of the Government Cipher Committee.
