HCMC – Two vice chairmen of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province in the 2021-2026 tenure have been reprimanded for their shortcomings while on duty, with effect from today, February 9.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, on behalf of the prime minister, yesterday signed decisions disciplining vice chairmen Mai Hung Dung and Nguyen Loc Ha, the local media reported.
In early December last year, the Inspection Commission of the Party Central Committee reprimanded the Party Civil Affairs of the provincial People’s Committee and officials involved, including Dung, Ha and Ha Van Ut, director of the Department of Finance.
The Inspection Commission concluded that the Party and the people of Binh Duong have made huge efforts in the Covid fight and contributed to the local socioeconomic recovery and growth. However, the provincial Party Civil Affairs violated working rules, and showed slack leadership and irresponsibility, and let several individuals and agencies violate the Party and State regulations in the bidding and purchasing of medical equipment for the Covid response.
