Two more land lots in Thu Thiem auctioned successfully

HCMC – Besides the 3-5 and 3-8 land lots which were auctioned successfully on the morning of December 10, the 3-9 and 3-12 land lots in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in HCMC’s Thu Duc City also found owners in afternoon auctions.

The 3-9 and 3-12 land lots with a respective area of over 5,000 and 10,000 square meters were auctioned successfully at more than VND5 trillion and VND24.5 trillion, seven and 8.3 times higher than the starting prices, respectively.

The starting prices of the two land lots were over VND728.6 billion and over VND2.9 trillion, respectively.

Binh Minh Investment Development and Trading Co., Ltd beat 13 other companies to win the auction for the 3-9 land lot, while Viet Star Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd was the auction winner for the 3-12 land lot after overcoming 14 other enterprises.

The two land lots were planned to be used to develop compounds with residential, trading and service areas.

On the 3-9 land lot, its owner can develop a project with four to 10 floors and a basement. It can accommodate a maximum of 101 apartments with 811 people. In addition, 5% of its floor area can be used to make room for trading activities.

Meanwhile, a project with four to 25 floors and two basements can be built on the 3-12 land lot. The land lot can accommodate 579 apartments with a maximum of 3,420 people and 5% of its area can be used for trading activities.

The auction winners can use the land lots for 50 years.

The Property Auction Service Center under the HCMC Department of Justice on December 10 held auctions for the four land lots, located in the third functional area of the Thu Thiem New Urban Area, with a starting price of nearly VND5.3 trillion in total.

In the end, the auctions of the four land lots brought back VND37.3 trillion to the city’s budget.

Prior to the auctions of the 3-9 and 3-12 land lots, the 3-5 and 3-8 land lots with a respective area of some 6,400 and 8,500 square meters were auctioned at VND3.82 trillion and VND4 trillion, 6.6 and four times higher than the starting prices.
