Vietjet today inaugurated the first route connecting Can Tho and Quang Ninh, making it easier than ever to develop tourism and trade between the two major economic regions.

The inaugural flight was welcomed by Chairman of Can Tho City People’s Committee – Mr. Tran Viet Truong and Acting Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, and leaders of multiple departments and agencies of the two provinces, tourism and travel companies, local people and visitors.

The first air link between Can Tho and Quang Ninh offers two return flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. With only two hours and 20 minutes of flight time per leg, Vietjet brings people and tourists easily from the capital of the country’s southwestern region to Quang Ninh, the key economic region of northeastern Vietnam which is home to the World Heritage-listed Halong Bay. Meanwhile, Can Tho is the western region’s capital city known for an abundance of river landscapes and gardens as well as the large agricultural areas. The new air route makes it easier for the transportation of goods and fresh seafood from the Mekong Delta to Van Don, Mong Cai border gate (Quang Ninh) and vice versa.

Guests can now book a flight with Vietjet to experience the journey with new modern aircraft, dedicated and professional cabin crews, a rich menu with fresh and hot organic meals featuring global culinary culture, many products, services and utilities that offer passengers a good travel experience and meet all customers’ demands.

Especially, when registering for the Vietjet SkyJoy loyalty program, passengers can use reward SkyPoints to redeem vouchers of Vietjet and services from 250 favorite brands of dining, resort and shopping in Vietnam, etc. via SkyJoy mobile app or website https://skyjoy.vietjetair.com/.
