HCMC – Vietnam Airlines has announced to introduce its direct air services connecting the country’s two biggest cities, Hanoi and HCMC, and the Philippine capital of Manila, beginning June 17.
The national flag airline will operate three weekly flights from Hanoi to Manila, departing on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Meanwhile, there will be four weekly flights from HCMC to Manila on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Vietnam Airlines becomes the first local carrier to launch direct air services to the Philippines. This new route linking key economic centers in the ASEAN region signifies a milestone in its strategy to expand its international flight network.
The launch of direct air services to Manila will contribute to fostering economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between Vietnam and the Philippines, as well as other countries in the region.
