The remaining one patient, a 44-year-old man, returned to Vietnam from Guam Island of the United States through HCMC-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 4. His positive test result came out on August 9 and he is being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

Among the 847 confirmed cases in Vietnam, 399 patients have made a full recovery while 13 others have died.
