Vietnam has four new coronavirus cases tonight

HCMC – The Ministry of Health tonight announced four more cases of coronavirus, with one linked to the Bach Mai Hospital cluster, taking the country’s total confirmed cases to 245.

The 242nd patient, a 47-year-old man, on March 12 took his wife to Hanoi-based Bach Mai Hospital for medical examination. The resident of Me Linh District tested positive for the virus on April 6. He is under treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh District.

The other three returned from abroad to Vietnam on the same flight SU290 on March 25, the local media reported.

The 243rd patient, a 34-year-old woman, was confirmed as positive for the virus on April 5. The resident of Ha Tinh Province lives and works in Russia.

The 44-year-old female patient, confirmed as the 244th case, who lives in Quang Binh Province, is an employee at a fast-food restaurant in Germany, while the 245th female patient, a 21-year-old resident of Nghe An Province, is a worker at a nail salon in Spain.

After their arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, the three were sent to a quarantine center at FPT University in Thach That District. They are now under treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh District.
