Vietnam reports no new Covid-19 cases this morning

HCMC – No fresh Covid-19 cases were reported this morning, August 24, keeping the country’s tally unchanged at 1,016.

Among the 1,016 cases, including 674 locally-transmitted cases, 569 patients have made a full recovery while 27 others have died of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.

The number of active patients having tested negative for the virus one or three times is 116, according to the Ministry of Health.

Some 70,620 individuals are now under quarantine in Vietnam, with over 1,990 people quarantined at local hospitals and over 18,770 others placed under quarantine at centralized centers.
