HCMC – The number of fresh Covid cases reported in Vietnam today, May 20, fell by 128 cases day-on-day at 1,587, said the Ministry of Health.
The capital city of Hanoi reported 373 cases. Phu Tho came second with 102 cases. Other parts of the nation had fewer than 95 cases each, including HCMC with 31 cases.
The country today also reported two Covid deaths in the southern provinces of Tay Ninh and Tra Vinh. More than 7,100 patients were declared free of the disease today, bringing the country’s total recoveries to nearly 9.4 million.
Currently, there are 221 in severe condition nationwide.
