HCMC – Vietnam’s cumulative number of Covid-19 cases still stays at 267, without any fresh cases being reported this evening, April 15, according to the Health Ministry.
Of the total cases, 160 are imported and 107 others locally transmitted. No coronavirus fatalities have been reported so far.
Earlier in the day, two hospitals in HCMC and Can Tho City had discharged two recovered Covid-19 patients, taking the nation’s total recoveries to 171 till now.
As for the remaining active cases, 13 patients tested negative once and six others tested twice for the new coronavirus.
Among several patients under intensive care, a British pilot, known as the 91st patient, has shown physical and cognitive improvement, despite being kept under sedation.
Regarding the Ha Loi Hamlet cluster in Hanoi where 13 coronavirus patients have been confirmed, over 2,000 samples collected from residents of Lieu Tri Hamlet, which borders Ha Loi, all came back negative.
