HCMC – Hoang Quan Consulting-Trading-Service Real Estate Corporation (HQC) wants to transfer its 20% stake worth VND2.1 billion in Tay Nam A College to Nguyen Thi Dieu Phuong, vice board chairwoman at HQC.
Phuong, 57, is also the wife of HQC board chairman Truong Anh Tuan.
As of March 31 this year, the real estate developer was owning a 20% stake in Tay Nam A College, which is located at 254 Le Trong Tan Street, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, HCMC.
In related news, the realty firm plans to offer 100 million HQC shares at VND10,000 to raise VND1 trillion in capital this year, after it receives approval from the State Securities Commission.
On the local stock market, HQC closed higher by 1% at VND5,050 today, July 27.
The benchmark VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange gained 5.97 points, or 0.5% against the previous session at 1,191.04, with 222 stocks rising and 201 others falling. Trade on the southern bourse improved over 2% in volume and 6% in value over the session earlier at over 445 million shares and over VND10 trillion. Shares traded in block deals contributed over VND2 trillion to the overall value.
On the Hanoi bourse, the HNX-Index added 1.64 points, or 0.58% versus the previous session at 284.52, with 100 winners and 80 losers.
