HCMC – The central city of Danang has reported 458 dengue cases in the last week, bringing the total in the city to 8,051 as of November 9, the local media reported.
The number of cases detected this year has surged 16 times compared to 2021, with local hospitals almost overwhelmed, according to data from the Danang health authority. Recently, some 45 beds at the city’s medical facilities have been nearly occupied.
Weekly cases range from 320 to 340.
People are advised to seek medical support when experiencing symptoms of dengue fever, such as headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pains, vomiting and rash.
