HCMC – The 12th National External Information Service Awards was launched on April 17 in HCMC, aiming to broaden participation among young people, entrepreneurs, and overseas Vietnamese communities.

The event was jointly organized by the Steering Committee on External Information Service and the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization.

This year’s awards set out three key requirements, including mastering digital technologies, ensuring depth of content, and enhancing outreach through the business community and overseas Vietnamese.

Organizers are encouraging participation from young people, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and those working in digital technology and artificial intelligence to promote Vietnam’s image globally in a modern and compelling way. Submissions are also expected to reflect the country’s vision, stature, and development aspirations in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

The awards are open to both individuals and organizations at home and abroad, covering eight categories: Vietnamese-language and foreign-language print media, radio, television, books, photography, digital and multimedia products, and external information initiatives.

Eligible entries must be published between July 1, 2025 and July 31, 2026, with submissions due by August 5, 2026 via the official website at https://giaithuong.ttdn.vn/en. Book entries can also be submitted in hard copy to the organizers in Hanoi.

At last year’s edition, organizers awarded eight first prizes, 16 second prizes, 24 third prizes, and 40 consolation prizes from nearly 2,500 entries.
