HCMC – Over 180 information technology (IT) products and services have won the annual Sao Khue Awards.
The Sao Khue Awards this year features 15 winners for digital platforms, 22 innovative technology solution services and two digital startups.
In addition, 38 exceptional services and 105 digital solutions got awards.
Eleven nominees received five-star Sao Khue rankings from the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), the organizer, and 10 nominees were named for this year’s Top 10 Sao Khue Awards.
Truong Gia Binh, chairman of the VINASA Founding Council, said the awards had demonstrated the growing reputation of local IT products.
Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung said that the robust expansion of the digital economy would be one of the factors propelling Vietnam’s development.
More than 1,500 local enterprises, IT products and services nationwide have won the Sao Khue Awards since its inception in 2003.
Vietnam’s software and information technology industry saw a 300-fold increase in revenue and a 240-fold rise in personnel over the past two decades.
In 2022, the sector generated revenue of US$148 billion and employed over 1.2 million people.
