HCMC – Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia, has arrived in Vietnam for an official visit from June 3-4.
The visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is aimed at marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia.
During the visit, Albanese will meet with leaders of Vietnam over collaboration in investment, politics, climate change response, and people-to-people exchanges.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Australia reached US$15.73 billion last year, making Vietnam Australia’s 10th largest trading partner.
