IDICO to spend VND660 billion on dividend payment

HCMC – IDICO Corporation, whose IDC shares are listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, has announced to spend VND660 billion advancing cash dividend payments of 20% for 2023.

Shareholders will receive VND2,000 for each IDC share held. The payment date is October 13, 2023.

With around 330 million outstanding shares, IDICO Corporation is expected to pay more than VND660 billion.

Additionally, IDICO Corporation will collaborate with IDICO No. 10 Construction Investment JSC to seek approval to develop the IDICO-INCO 10 Office Complex Project in Can Tho City.

The investment capital of the project is VND409.92 billion. IDICO Corporation and IDICO No. 10 Construction Investment JSC will fund 24.39% of the total amount, or around VND100 billion.

At the close of the trading session today, IDC fell by 2.58% over yesterday’s session to VND49,100, with over 4.3 million shares transacted on the northern bourse.

Regarding the HCMC stock market today, September 22, the VN-Index shed 19.69 points, or 1.62%, to 1,193.05 points, with decliners outnumbering advancers by 455 to 70.

Trade on the southern bourse totaled over 1.39 billion shares worth over VND32.2 trillion, surging by 10% in volume and 13% in value over the previous session. More than 76 million shares valued at VND2 billion were traded in block deals.

Lenders VCB and BID were the main drivers, contributing more than 3.4 points and 1.1 points to the overall index, respectively. At the end of the session, VCB surged by 2.64% to VND89,300, while BID increased by 1.88% to VND46,050.

Meanwhile, many securities stocks remained in negative territory. Notably, SSI lost more than 6%, but took the lead by liquidity today with 69.45 million shares transacted. TVB and TVS declined by over 4%.

With 37 winners and 175 losers, the HNX-Index of the Hanoi Stock Exchange lost 8.72 points, or 3.46%, to 243.15 points. The total trading volume exceeded 10.63 million shares, with a value of over VND138.4 billion.
