HCMC – HCMC will waive fees for five public administrative services when residents conduct these services online, with effect from May 29 to the end of 2025.

The five types of administrative procedures with full or partial online public services that will be free of charge include residence registration fee, work permit issuance fee for foreigners working in Vietnam, business registration fee, certificate issuance fee for land use rights, house ownership rights, and landed property, and construction permit issuance fee.

Households and businesses conducting transactions via the HCMC Public Service Portal at dichvucong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn or the National Public Service Portal at dichvucong.gov.vn will be exempt from fees and charges.

According to the HCMC Department of Information and Communications, this is the second time the city has waived fees for online public services. In 2021, HCMC was the first locality to offer a 50% reduction in fees and charges for administrative procedures when conducted online.
