Dong Nai approves 10 social housing projects

HCMC – Dong Nai Province’s Department of Construction has approved the investment plans for 10 social housing projects across the province, with total capital of more than VND16.5 trillion.

Information on the 10 social housing projects will be publicly disclosed, and investors can express their interest in these projects over a 30-day period, from July 10 to August 8, 2025.

Located in Phuoc Tan Ward, the ChC1 and ChC2 social housing projects covering 16,500 square meters will offer 320 units. With a total investment of over VND722.5 billion, they are scheduled to be put into operation by April 2026.

The social housing project in Tam Hiep Ward, covering over 6,400 square meters, will provide around 520 units, with a total investment of VND648.8 billion. It is slated to begin operations in January 2028.

Another social housing project, located on a residential land plot within the resettlement area of Long Binh Ward, spans more than 2.4 hectares and has 1,248 units. The VND1,135-billion project is also expected to be operational in January 2028.

Next is a social housing apartment project on a 2.1-hectare site in Phuoc An Commune, featuring 1,800 units and an investment of over VND1,000 billion. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from the date of investor selection approval.

Also located in Phuoc An Commune, another social housing complex will be built on a 3.71-hectare plot, comprising 1,490 apartments with a total investment of VND1,206 billion. Construction is scheduled to begin 24 months after all necessary procedures are finalized.

The social housing project on a 3.5-hectare site in Trang Bom Commune will provide around 960 apartments, with a total investment of over VND733 billion.

In addition, a social housing project on a 2.85-hectare site in Ho Nai Ward is designed to accommodate about 4,000 residents. With a total investment of around VND3,582 billion, this project is slated to begin operations by the end of this year.

The social housing project in Tan Trieu Ward covers 2.38 hectares and is expected to deliver 970 apartments, with a total investment of VND1,316 billion. It is scheduled to begin operations in February 2028.

Meanwhile, the project covering 7.32 hectares in An Phuoc Commune will provide 1,149 units, and require a total of over VND1,755 billion. It is expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2029.

Also planned for the second quarter of 2029 is a social housing project in Phuoc Thai Commune. Covering more than 10 hectares, the project will offer 1,660 units and need a total of VND2,309 billion.
