HCMC – Dong Nai authorities have proposed building a new interchange connecting Provincial Road 770B with the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway to strengthen logistics links and support industrial development near Long Thanh International airport.

The Dong Nai City People’s Committee said on May 20 that it had submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Construction seeking permission to implement the project under a public-private partnership (PPP).

The interchange requires an estimated VND704 billion, including around VND12 billion for compensation and resettlement and VND692 billion for construction and financing costs.

Authorities proposed implementing the project through a build-transfer contract financed by the city budget, with construction expected to take place between 2026 and 2028.

According to Dong Nai, the interchange would become a key transport corridor connecting the Xuan Que-Song Nhan Industrial Park with the national transport network, regional logistics hubs and interprovincial economic corridors.

The project is expected to help lower transportation costs, improve cargo circulation and create conditions for attracting more strategic investment into the southeastern area of Dong Nai.

The interchange would improve connectivity between Long Thanh International Airport and the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway through Provincial Road 769E, which is currently under development.
