Poong In highlights global team, performance strategy on 36th anniversary

Held under the theme “One Poong In, 36 Years Built Together,” the program featured congratulatory remarks from the Chairman and CEO, long-service awards, a global flag ceremony, a Golden Bell quiz, and a Hyrox-style fitness challenge.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Long-Service Awards, honoring employees who have dedicated many years to Poong In’s growth. The awards recognize 7-year, 10-year, and 15-year awardees whose commitment has been essential to the company’s success.

As part of the celebration program, six national flags were presented on stage, representing Poong In’s diverse global team. With members from six countries, including Korea, the ceremony symbolized the company’s unity and global identity—honoring different cultures and languages while remaining connected as one.

Furthermore, Poong In also organized another activity to promote employee engagement. There was a Golden Bell quiz. All employees enjoyed a day filled with energy, unity, and meaningful connection—sharing playful moments and creating lasting memories together.

A standout this year was the high-intensity Hyrox workout event inspired by Poong In’s in-house performance concept lines, PIRL and PIHP. Specifically, PIRL (Poong In Running Lab) is the company’s private-label running project, focused on developing running gear and collaborating with running crews and culture communities. Meanwhile, PIHP (Poong In High Performance) is a private-label initiative dedicated to creating high-performance apparel for high-intensity training like Hyrox, while exploring innovative performance-wear technologies.

Traditionally known for its strength in women’s fashion apparel, Poong In is expanding into activewear and performance technology to drive continuous growth.

This anniversary event was more than a ceremony—it became a symbolic moment where employees actively experienced Poong In’s organizational culture built on performance and innovation.

According to the Chairman, Poong In’s history is built on trust and courageous decisions. In addition, the CEO shared a vision to reinforce global leadership through AI and sustainability. The company has set ambitious goals, including reaching US$600 million in revenue within the next three years. This vision is firmly supported by key strategies, including diversifying the product portfolio, adopting multi-country sourcing, and harnessing automation to drive operational efficiency.

This year’s special milestone was celebrated by honoring the efforts of all departments, all teams, and all individuals who contribute to Poong In’s success. From Poong In’s point of view, their passion inspires the company to keep improving, innovating, and moving toward a better tomorrow. Thirty-six years is a meaningful milestone celebrated through two unforgettable moments. These include the Ceremony and the Team Building program. The ceremony honored its journey, its people, and 36 years of dedication. The Team Building session was a full day of energy, unity, and memorable bonding.
