The event, held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), runs until April 2 alongside DrinkTech Vietnam 2026 and Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2026, forming a combined platform for processing, packaging, and manufacturing technologies.
Organized by Informa Markets Vietnam, the exhibition features six international pavilions and is expected to attract over 11,000 visitors, including business leaders and industry experts.
Joseph Ross Jocson, president of the Asian Packaging Federation, said the sector is shifting toward sustainability and innovation, with companies under pressure to reduce waste, adopt circular production models, and use recyclable materials. He noted that technologies such as smart packaging, automation, and artificial intelligence are helping improve efficiency and transparency.
Nguyen Van Viet, chairman of the Vietnam Beer–Alcohol–Beverage Association, said businesses are grappling with rising costs and stricter market standards that require faster adoption of new technologies and production models to remain competitive.
Organizers described the event as a platform for companies to compare technologies based on performance and total cost of ownership, as firms move toward data-driven investment decisions.
The exhibition also includes conferences and seminars on regulatory compliance, sustainability policies, digital transformation, and supply chains, alongside business matching sessions connecting buyers and suppliers.
