A multimedia spectacle by the sea

As the sun sinks into the ocean, Kiss of the Sea transforms the southern coast of Phu Quoc Special Zone into an open-air stage of light, water, and performance. Held nightly in Sunset Town, the multimedia show combines jets of water, fire effects, music, lasers, and projection mapping against the backdrop of the sea.

The production draws huge numbers of visitors each evening, many arriving before dusk to watch the sky over the Mediterranean-inspired waterfront change color. As darkness falls, performers emerge on elevated stages and moving platforms, accompanied by synchronized fountains that rise several stories high.

At the center of the show is a romantic storyline inspired by cultural exchanges across civilizations. Acrobatics, dance, and live-action sequences unfold alongside visual effects projected onto curtains of water. Fireworks illuminate the coastline during the finale, reflecting across the bay and drawing applause from the spectators along the stands.

Developed as part of Phu Quoc’s growing entertainment offering, the show has become one of the island’s most photographed attractions. Visitors often combine the evening performance with nearby landmarks, including the Kiss Bridge and the cable car linking southern Phu Quoc to Hon Thom Islet.
