HCMC – FPT Corporation (HOSE: FPT) and Japan’s Tokushukai Medical Group have announced a partnership to accelerate digital transformation in healthcare and medical services in Vietnam and Japan.

The agreement comes as Vietnam and Japan seek to deepen bilateral cooperation following the recent visit to Vietnam by Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae.

The signing ceremony on May 19 was attended by Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Ito Naoki, and senior executives from both groups.

Under the partnership, FPT and its affiliated company will be authorized to use the Tokushukai brand in healthcare activities in Vietnam.

The two sides will also jointly develop and deploy information technology solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems in both countries.

The partnership between the two leading groups in healthcare and technology is expected to make significant contributions to the healthcare sector, particularly as technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing continue to advance rapidly.
