HCMC – Nha Trang City has reopened its doors to tourists by adopting an optimal solution—“living with the coronavirus”—through which tourism activities will continue and Covid-19 infection prevention and control measures will simultaneously be strictly followed to guarantee the safety of visitors.
Pham Minh Nhut, vice chairman of the Nha Trang Tourism Association of Khanh Hoa Province, told Nguoi Lao Dong Online that local tour operators could offer short relaxation tours to families to stimulate tourism.
The association has introduced a tourism promotion program called “Khanh Hoa residents travel in Khanh Hoa”, calling on lodging fatalities and tourist sites in the province to offer promotional and preferential programs to locals.
As the coronavirus has been brought under control in the south-central and Central Highlands regions, Long Phu JSC has reopened the Hoa Lan and Monkey tourist sites in Nha Trang but is welcoming tourists only on three days of the week, according to Le Dung Lam, general director of the firm.
To attract more tourists, the firm is rearing a herd of deer, ostriches, bears and elephants on Hoa Lan Island to offer new experiences to visitors, including riding ostriches and elephants and enjoying bear circus performances, said a representative of Long Phu JSC.
Apart from this, on Monkey Island, which is home to over 1,200 monkeys, tourists can enjoy various performances by monkeys.
Besides, Hon Tam Nha Trang Sea JSC has rolled out a promotion program to encourage residents in the province to use mud-bathing services on Hon Tam Island at a discounted price of VND360,000 per person, inclusive of lunch at Hon Viet Restaurant.
Another tourist site, I-resort Nha Trang, has also introduced a series of promotional packages for hot mineral mud bathing from now until December 15. Customers who buy a voucher for a mud bathing service at VND400,000 per adult will be offered a one-night stay at the four-star Green World hotel and free breakfast.
Moreover, the Eastin Grand hotel has introduced dinner party packages priced from VND350,000 per person for three dishes and wine.
