Ba Ria-Vung Tau to auction seven land lots covering over 228 hectares

HCMC – The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Department of Natural Resources and Environment has announced that it will put seven land lots covering a total area of over 228 hectares up for auction this year.

The provincial department is set to collect a land use fee of nearly VND11.9 trillion from these land lots, the local media reported.

Under the plan, a land lot covering 2.5 hectares of land in Ward 1 in Vung Tau City will be auctioned in the first quarter of 2022, while in the second quarter, a 4.1-hectare land lot managed by the Vung Tau City government in Thang Tam Ward will be put up for auction. The total land use fee of the two land lots is expected to amount to over VND3.5 trillion.

In addition, the provincial department will auction a land lot on Nghinh Phong Cape in Ward 2 in Vung Tau City and a land lot of the Vinalines Shipyard Company in My Xuan Ward in Phu My Town in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the department will continue to auction a VietinBank land lot covering over 76 hectares of land in Wards 10 and 11 in Vung Tau City.

The two final land lots for auction are the Cu Lao Ben Dinh ecological city area covering 110 hectares of land in Wards 5, 9, Thang Nhat and Thang Nhi, and a land lot in Vung Tau City’s Thang Nhi Ward.
