Must read

Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province is gearing up to host an array of captivating entertainment programs during Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week, set to take place from December 27 to December 29, 2024.

The People’s Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province has recently approved the plan for the event. The provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center is leading efforts to promote the program’s activities, aiming to enhance tourism advertising, stimulate demand, and position Ba Ria-Vung Tau as a premier destination for both domestic and international travelers. The Center is also collaborating with the Tourism Association and local enterprises to establish a high-quality tourism promotion space, funded by the 2024 trade promotion program. Businesses are being encouraged to participate in these efforts and showcase their offerings in the province’s shared tourism space.

This marks the second consecutive year Ba Ria-Vung Tau is organizing Tourism Week at year-end to promote tourism and attract visitors. The event seeks to create a festive atmosphere that caters to the cultural and recreational needs of both locals and tourists. Through various activities, the province aims to present a modern and dynamic image of Ba Ria-Vung Tau while offering a diverse range of high-quality tourism products.

Under the theme “Let’s go!!! Ba Ria – Vung Tau,” the event will be hosted at two primary locations: Vung Tau City and Xuyen Moc District. The week-long program features an exciting lineup of activities to captivate both tourists and residents.

Vibrant activities in Vung Tau City

Visitors to Front Beach can immerse themselves in a unique hot air balloon performance, explore beer flavors from around the world at the beer culture space, and enjoy the “symphony of the sea” with an array of coastal culinary specialties. Thrill-seekers can experience jet skiing, parasailing, and flyboarding performances.

A vibrant crowd attended the opening ceremony of Ba Ria- Vung Tau Tourism Week last year.

Additionally, a display area will introduce OCOP (One Commune One Product) items associated with traditional craft villages. Hundreds of specialty products from Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be available, offering visitors meaningful gift options.

A major highlight is the opening art program on the evening of December 27, themed “Ba Ria-Vung Tau: A Destination Full of Emotions.” Combining modern sound and lighting technology with performances by renowned artists, the event will showcase the province’s unique destinations and attractions, leaving visitors with unforgettable memories.

Another eagerly awaited event is the “Tuong Ky Mountain Run Challenge” on December 28 and 29, expected to draw around 2,000 participants. The race will take runners along scenic trails on Tuong Ky Mountain (Big Mountain), offering stunning views of Vung Tau City nestled between the mountains and the vast blue sea.

The terrain of Big Mountain in Vung Tau is beginner-friendly, making it ideal for those new to trekking.

Elite sports experiences in Xuyen Moc

At Ho Tram in Xuyen Moc District, two standout sports tournaments will take place on December 28 and 29: a pickleball tournament and the Ukbiz Cup 2024 Golf Tournament.

The pickleball tournament features multiple categories catering to players of all skill levels, providing a fun and engaging experience for visitors. Meanwhile, the Ukbiz Cup is expected to see Vietnamese and Korean businesspeople competing in an exciting golf showdown.
