HCMC – The South Korean medical equipment manufacturer Dentium will develop a third manufacturing plant worth US$177 million in the Danang Hi-Tech Park, said local media reports.
On November 28, the Danang Hi-Tech Park management board held a ceremony to present the investment certificate to the ICT VINA III manufacturing plant project.
The project, fully funded by Dentium Co., Ltd., brings the total registered FDI in the Danang Hi-Tech Park to around US$875 million in 13 projects.
The company launched its first venture in 2018 with the ICT VINA manufacturing plant worth US$20 million. In 2020, it followed up with the ICT VINA II plant, valued at US$60 million.
The project investor committed to attracting more high-tech experts, both domestic and international, to Danang, as well as implementing training to enhance professional skills, contributing to the advancement of scientific research activities in the area.
According to the head of the Management Board of Danang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, this is one of the key projects the city has attracted during the 2020-2025 period under the “Comprehensive Development Plan for Danang Hi-Tech Park until 2030.”
Since the beginning of 2024, the management board has approved four projects in Danang’s hi-tech park, IT park, and industrial zones. These include two FDI projects with a combined investment of US$178.5 million and two domestic projects worth VND810 billion.
