HCMC – The Binh Dinh Province government and the Binh Dinh economic zone management board have presented investment certificates to three projects to produce unbaked bricks, paper and wooden products with a combined investment of over VND170 billion.
The Dong A Granite Stone Company will pour over VND95 billion into an exterior wood processing plant project at the Phuoc An industrial complex in Tuy Phuoc District’s Phuoc An Commune.
The project is set to get off the ground in the second quarter of 2022 and will be put into operation in the third quarter of 2022. The facility, which will cover over 52,000 square meters of land, is expected to produce 11,550 cubic meters of wood a year.
In addition, the Nhon Hoi Eco Printing and Packaging Company was licensed to develop a crumpled paper and covering production facility at the Nhon Hoi industrial park in Quy Nhon City, with a total cost of VND70 billion. The project will be carried out in two phases, with the capacity of the first phase at 4,800 tons per year. It is set to be put into service in July 2022.
The third licensed project is the unbaked brick production plant developed by the Ancient Pottery Company. The project, which requires a total capital of VND6.4 billion, will be located in Tay Son District and be put into operation in September 2023. The plant is expected to turn out six million unbaked bricks each year.
This year, Binh Dinh Province has attracted over VND104 trillion in local investment, including 25 projects at the province’s economic and industrial zones, with a total investment of some VND9 trillion.
The south-central province is planning to attract more investment in the 2021-2025 period, prioritizing hi-tech and eco-friendly projects toward sustainable development.
