HCMC – Bosch Vietnam’s plant has introduced a rooftop solar system to provide green energy for its manufacturing operations.

The 1,540-kWp solar power system, installed at the Bosch Plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province, represents a significant step in HcP’s dedication to adopting environmentally friendly energy sources.

This system is expected to produce about 2,300 MWh of clean energy annually and result in a reduction of 1,630 tons of CO2 emissions. This reduction is equivalent to planting around 30,000 trees each year.

“At Bosch, we firmly believe that embracing sustainable, ecological, and socially responsible practices forms the cornerstone of our business success. This ethos permeates the entire Group, manifesting in our day-to-day actions,” said Andreas Abbing, vice president and technical plant manager of Bosch Vietnam plant.

“The solar power system stands out as a noteworthy project, exemplifying our steadfast commitment to utilizing energy sustainably.”
