BRVT receives 264 Vietnamese returnees from Middle East

HCMC – The Preventive Healthcare Center of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province announced on June 17 to receive and quarantine 264 Vietnamese nationals who returned from the Middle East.

The medical forces of the province checked the body temperature of the returnees and sent them to two quarantine centers at Vabis Hong Lam International Vocational College in Phu My Town and the dormitory of the Medical Intermediate School in Ba Ria City.

The procedure has been conducted in line with prevailing regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, the local media reported.

All the Vietnamese nationals will be quarantined for 14 days and monitored by healthcare workers. After their quarantine period at the centers ends, they will be quarantined and monitored at home for another 14 days.

The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Preventive Healthcare Center revealed that since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the province has quarantined a total of 905 individuals including one person who tested positive for the virus.
