HCMC – The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has asked local airports to disinfect their terminals everyday, while ordering air carriers to sterilize their aircraft to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The disinfection must comply with the international regulations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Airports Council International (ACI) and the Vietnamese Ministry of Health’s regulations.
Disinfectants used at airports must also meet the standards and regulations of WHO, ICAO, IATA, ACI and the Ministry of Health, the local media reported.
