HCMC – Can Tho City has inaugurated a nine-story parking building which can accommodate about 1,000 cars and motorcycles.
Situated at the intersection of Phan Dinh Phung and Ngo Van So streets in Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District, the parking building covers nearly 4,300 square meters of land, and has a total construction area of 21,000 square meters.
In addition to motorcycles, vehicles with fewer than 17 seats can use this largest vehicle parking facility in Can Tho.
Construction on the project commenced in June 2020, with a total investment of VND158 billion.
Le Van Thong, director of the Can Tho Investment and Development Fund, said specialized software is used to recognize and provide information about parking locations and durations.
During its trial operation period, which runs from September 20 to November 30, the parking building will offer free parking services for customers.
This new facility is expected to contribute to the development of tourism in Can Tho City.
