HCMC – Three specialized cargo transport roads between Vietnam and China were opened to traffic today in the northern province of Lang Son, helping enhance trade between the two countries.
The inauguration of the three roads will support the expansion of trade and tourism cooperation while bolstering customs clearance effectiveness and capacity at the Huu Nghi (Vietnam) and Youyi Guan (China) international border gates.
At the event, Duong Xuan Huyen, permanent vice chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son Province, called for both sides to make the most of the new roads to increase trade.
Miao Qingwang, vice chairman of the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, highlighted the stronger relationship between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and Lang Son Province, Vietnam.
During the event, officials from both countries carried out immigration procedures for citizens of the two countries at the Tan Thanh – Puzhai border crossing point.
