HCMC – China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) has expressed interest in major infrastructure projects in Vietnam, including the North-South express railway and metro lines in Hanoi and HCMC.

During a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on August 28, Wang Haihuai, executive director and president of CCCC, said that Vietnam currently offers many favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from China, according to local media.

Wang said that CCCC is interested in major infrastructure projects in Vietnam, such as the North-South high-speed railway, infrastructure projects connecting China and Vietnam, and metro lines in Hanoi and HCMC.

CCCC is also ready to get involved in nearshore and offshore wind power projects using the latest technologies, he added.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha suggested CCCC research and participate in Vietnam’s important infrastructure development projects, particularly the North-South high-speed railway, as well as other key rail lines like the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Haiphong, Hanoi-Dong Dang, and Haiphong-Halong-Mong Cai lines.

These are major projects that must be carried out as soon as possible, said the Deputy Prime Minister, urging CCCC to engage promptly with Vietnamese partners and familiarize themselves with the legal frameworks of both countries to ensure effective collaboration.
