HCMC – The Consular Club HCMC raised VND1.5 billion (nearly US$60,000) during its International Bazaar held in Thu Duc City on November 9 in celebration of its 30th anniversary.

The bazaar, featuring over 100 vendors, attracted large crowds who bought a diverse selection of items and sampled foods from around the world. The proceeds from the event will go to southern Vietnamese charities focused on gender equality and sustainability.

Milena Padula, president of the Consular Club HCMC, highlighted the significance of the milestone event, stating, “Achieving this result for our life-changing charities is a wonderful way to celebrate the Consular Club’s 30th anniversary. For 30 years, we have been making an impact, and the success of the International Charity Bazaar shows we are set to achieve even greater outcomes.”

Founded in 1994, the Consular Club is a non-political, non-profit organization bringing together diplomatic and private sector representatives to support vulnerable groups of people in southern Vietnam.
