HCMC – The first direct air link between Vietnam’s Dalat City and the South Korean capital Seoul was launched today, December 21, with seven weekly flights.

The inaugural flight from Seoul to Dalat touched down at Lien Khuong Airport at 3 a.m., marking the beginning of this new air route operated by South Korean airline Jeju Air, reported the local media.

In addition to the Dalat-Seoul route, Jeju Air operates flights connecting six cities between South Korea and Vietnam. These routes include flights between Incheon Airport in Seoul and various Vietnamese destinations such as Danang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hanoi, and HCMC, as well as flights between Busan and Danang.

Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, vice chairman of the Lam Dong People’s Committee, said that South Korean tourists account for over 60% of international visitors to Lam Dong. The Dalat-Seoul flight route is expected to further boost tourism and foster economic development in both regions and countries.
