HCMC – The Danang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF 2024) is set to take place from June 8 to July 13 by the Han River.
DIFF 2024 will feature fireworks displays by Vietnam and seven international teams from France, Italy, the U.S., Germany, Poland, China and Finland. Each team will display fireworks for 20 minutes with a vibrant array of colors.
The festival will consist of five competition nights – four qualifying rounds and one final night.
The venue for DIFF 2024 will encompass both the Han River Port area for the fireworks presentations and the Tran Hung Dao Street sidewalk area for artistic performances.
Sun Group will remain the corporate partner of Danang City in hosting the forthcoming fireworks festival and its sideline events. Leaders of Danang said DIFF 2024 will deliver a message of a peaceful, fair, harmonious, and compassionate world.
DIFF 2023 served as a significant boost for Danang’s tourism recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. During the event, the number of flights to Danang International Airport reached 150 per day at certain times, a 1.5-fold increase against normal days. The city’s hotel room occupancy was about 70%, with 4-5-star hotels reaching 80-85%.
