Dat Xanh Group has new board chairman

HCMC – Dat Xanh Group, which trades its DXG shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, has announced Luong Ngoc Huy has replaced Luong Tri Thin as chairman of the Board of Directors, with effect from July 3.

Luong Tri Thin now assumes the role of chairman of the company’s Strategic Council, which has just been established to plan, develop and implement strategies for the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Investment Council, and other important policies.

Thin remains a member of the Board of Directors and a major shareholder of Dat Xanh Group.

Dat Xanh Group’s current board has five members: Luong Ngoc Huy, Luong Tri Thin, Bui Ngoc Duc, Ha Duc Hieu, and Nguyen Pham Anh Tai, the last-named being the independent board member.

Closing the trading session today, July 4, DXG fell by 1.89% to VND15,600 per share, with 8.9 million shares traded on the bourse.

The VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange added 3.04 points, or 0.24%, against yesterday’s session, at 1,279.89 points, with 179 winners and 207 losers.

There were more than 523.4 million shares worth VND14 trillion changing hands on the southern exchange, down by over 11% in volume and 10% in value against the previous session. Around 47.4 million shares were traded in block deals, with a total value of VND1.06 trillion.

Two blue-chip stocks, PLX and FPT, were main drivers of the market. Specifically, PXL climbed by 4.9% to VND43,900 per share while FPT rose by 3.7% to VND135,800 per share.

VPB took the lead by liquidity on the market, with over 26.2 million shares traded.

On the northern exchange, the HNX-Index inched up by 0.45 point, or 0.19%, to 241.88 points. The trading volume reached over 45 million shares worth a total of VND891 billion.
