HCMC – Local content agency Dear Our Community, in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank, has recently kicked off the “Opening the Way — Leading the Path” Series, a youth-focused program emphasizing participation in social impact activities in Vietnam.

The project, which is executed between March and May, will provide young audiences with the knowledge and capabilities required to pursue sustainability careers.

The program involves a broad range of dedicated activities, including producing videos and interviews with social impact practitioners at pioneering companies and non-profit organizations in Vietnam.

Dear Our Community also plans to collaborate with local universities, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Sciences and the University of Economics-Finance, to raise student awareness about sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and social impact, and prepare them for entering the workforce.

Standard Chartered Bank will partner with Dear Our Community as the project sponsor. Employees of the bank will assist young people in planning for their social impact journey by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Vo Ngoc Tuyen, Dear Our Community founder and CEO, said that the participation of well-known and pioneering companies like Standard Chartered Bank provides motivation and support to youngsters taking part in ESG and sustainability practices, which contribute to Vietnam’s green future.
