Located in the heart of Khuon Ha Commune, Lam Binh District, Tuyen Quang Province, Khuoi Pin Cave is a captivating natural wonder, enchanting adventurous travelers and nature enthusiasts alike.
Known also as the Wind Cave, Khuoi Pin Cave beckons visitors with its untouched landscape and ethereal charm. Located approximately 2.5 kilometers from the Na Hang Hydropower Plant, the cave is ensconced within a protective forest area managed by Lam Binh District. The gentle breeze sweeps through the cave, creating melodious sounds that resonate within its depths.
To reach Khuoi Pin Cave, adventurers must embark on a thrilling journey, navigating steep slopes and crossing shallow streams. The path snakes through pristine old-growth forests, adorned with towering trees and inhabited by rare endemic flora and fauna species.
Khuoi Pin Cave comprises six compartments divided into two branches, soaring nearly 40 meters high. Stretching 500 meters in length and boasting a width exceeding 300 meters, the cave is adorned with over 10 giant stalagmite columns, reminiscent of majestic pillars supporting its dome.
Over millions of years, nature has sculpted Khuoi Pin Cave into a mesmerizing stone masterpiece. Its chambers are adorned with stalactites of various shapes and sizes, resembling flower curtains, mythical creatures, such as dragons, lions, turtles, and phoenixes, etc., and human figures. These ethereal formations imbue the cave with an aura of mystery and sacredness.
Within the cave’s depths lie pristine lakes, fed by groundwater, while colorful stalactites and stalagmites adorn its domed ceiling, shaped over millennia by trickling water.
