HCMC – The price of SJC-brand gold bars was VND83.5 million per tael today, September 24, a rise of VND1.5 million against yesterday, according to local media reports.
At around 10 a.m. today, jewelry firm DOJI raised its buying price of gold bars to VND81.5 million per tael and its selling price to VND83.5 million. One tael is equivalent to 37.5 grams or 1.2 troy ounces.
Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) and Bao Tin Minh Chau also adjusted up their gold prices to the same ranges.
Domestic gold ring prices have also surged. At PNJ, gold ring prices are bought at VND80.1 million per tael and sold at VND81.2 million per tael, up by VND200,000 on the buying side and VND100,000 on the selling side.
At SJC, the buying and selling price of 24K gold rings are set at VND79.8-81.1 million per tael, an increase of VND300,000 per tael in both buying and selling prices compared to yesterday.
