HCMC — Dong Nai Province plans to spend VND10 trillion developing 76 resettlement areas between 2026 and 2030, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Thirty sites will be built in 2026, followed by 24 in 2027–2028, with the remaining projects completed by 2030. Each site will cover 20 to 50 hectares, with 45% designated for housing. Average land lots will measure around 100 square meters, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

Funding will come from the State budget and other legal sources. Local authorities have directed units to comply with construction and land regulations and to limit land acquisition from residents. The resettlement sites will include basic infrastructure such as roads, schools, and markets.

The province said resettlement development will be prioritized to support nearly 750 projects planned for 2026–2030, including major transport works linked to Long Thanh International Airport, such as Beltway No. 4, Cat Lai and Long Hung bridges, and the HCMC–Long Thanh rail line.

This year, Dong Nai plans to build 13 resettlement sites, with six already under construction.
