Experiencing fun-filled family vacations this summer in Cam Ranh, Vietnam

Must read

Radisson Blu Resort in Cam Ranh invites guests to enjoy a “Blu Ocean Summer” with children’s activities, cultural experiences, sustainability workshops and more in this coastal paradise.

Family vacations are among life’s most joyful moments, giving kids the chance to create lifelong memories and parents a precious opportunity to unwind. This summer, Radisson Blu Resort, Cam Ranh, which is nestled in lush gardens on Vietnam’s south-central coast, will showcase a full seasonal calendar of exciting, educational and immersive activities for all ages.

As the long school holidays draw near, families are invited to experience a “Blu Ocean Summer” with curated programs and immersive adventures. With its tranquil tropical setting and fantastic five-star facilities, including a golden beach and world-class water park, Radisson Blu Resort, Cam Ranh invites all guests to enjoy fun in the sun this June, July and August.

Kids invited to step into a “Blu Ocean Summer”

Blu Ocean Summer will be officially launched on June 1, 2026, coinciding with International Children’s Day, with a full day of creative sessions, sustainability workshops, live performances: saxophone, water drum, and a foam party at the kids’ pool. In the evening, a beachfront bonfire with toasted marshmallows and an outdoor cinema will let loved ones come together under the stars.

An engaging schedule of activities then continues throughout the summer months, including the opportunity to take part in the “Blu Challenge,” an action-packed 48-hour program comprising eight challenges. With Vietnamese language lessons, culinary workshops, arts and crafts classes, ocean-themed treasure hunts, sustainability sessions, and outdoor games, every child will be able to learn new skills, make new friends, and expand their horizons. Having successfully completed the program, a “You’re the Best” certificate and gift will ensure that kids cherish this experience long after they depart.

Family bonding time on the beach

Sustainability is woven into every aspect of Radisson Blu Resort, Cam Ranh, and young guests can learn about the pristine marine ecosystem in a “Blu Ocean Conservation and Coral Plantation Workshop.” Designed for 10-16 year-olds, these weekly sessions include hands-on games and activities – including the chance to help marine experts plant live coral fragments – to foster a deep connection with the environment.

Cultural excursions to connect with Cam Ranh

Families who want to uncover the region’s natural and cultural wonders are invited to explore the south-central coast. Summer is mango season in Cam Ranh, and these succulent fruits can be discovered at an 80-year-old mango farm. Nestled in the countryside just 20 minutes’ drive from the resort, this idyllic orchard produces honey-sweet Canh Nong mangoes, as well as handmade products such as mango jelly, mango tea, and mango cake. Cam Ranh’s culinary heritage can also be savoured in a Vietnamese cooking class, as the resort’s talented chefs teach guests how to craft goi cuon (fresh spring rolls) and banh xeo (sizzling pancakes), providing a deep insight into the area’s fresh, organic ingredients.

Making splash on Cam Ranh’s golden coast

Throughout their summer vacation at Radisson Blu Resort, Cam Ranh, kids can make a splash at the Rainforest Waterpark, the first and only themed waterpark at a resort in Cam Ranh, which features six exhilarating slides, tipping buckets, splash zones and more. Alternatively on Bai Dai Beach, a 10-km stretch of golden sand just footsteps from the resort, parents and children can feel the spray of the ocean waves with a wide variety of exhilarating water sports and games. Beachfront yoga and tai-chi are also available, providing the perfect start to the morning.

The SPLASH Kids’ Club is a haven of fun where little ones can play to their hearts’ content with toys, games, arts & crafts, and more, all overseen by a professional childcare team. Safe in the knowledge that their kids are being well looked-after, parents can unwind in style at ESC Spa, which features a hydro-thermal zone, an invigorating ice grotto, and a Himalayan crystal salt chamber.

Family stays and a package to inspire connection

A selection of stunning sea-view suites and spectacular one- and two-bedroom beachfront pool villas are private sanctuaries where families can create magical moments together. This summer, the “Blu Suite & Villa Sanctuary” package will treat guests to a 40% discount on the room rate, plus executive lounge privileges, daily refreshments, afternoon tea with canapés, evening cocktails, wines and light bites, plus one 30-minute massage and two pieces of laundry per room per night.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Blu Ocean Summer, which invites families to create unforgettable moments in paradise. Our activity program has been thoughtfully designed to inspire and energize young people, with plenty of ways to learn about the local culture and environment, potentially creating a new generation of conservationists. And parents can rest assured that every aspect of their kids’ vacation is truly engaging, relieving the stress of keeping their little ones entertained. Summer starts here!” said Shaun Wheeler, the resort’s General Manager.
